We at Ladymead school are amazed at the wonderful man that is Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis after he visited our music department and spent 1.5hours being interviewed by pupils for our school radio station today. His stories were amazing, pure folklore and having JayZ and B in ur kitchen for coffee, superb. What a line up for this year also!!!!headline city. The pupils also performed a few tracks for him so hopefully that will get us to Glastonbury next year!!!!!!

Well, we had our meeting tonight, explaining how the academy will run and the staffing of it all. I was a little anxious on arriving but on leaving was excited by the future and what is in store for our pupils. The man at the top, Mr. Trusson is so passionate about our school, the development of our pupils and the Arts that I knew that we would have the best teachers, facilities and opportunities. There will be extra courses on offer at A level from 2011 with talks already started about Art, Drama, Music and Music Technology. We have the facilities, staff so why not??!!All in all, an exciting meeting and something to add to the excitement of being at Ladymead school.
